Loading Rheostat is a device specially designed to meet the requirements of Engineering Laboratories, Electrical Test Rooms and Industries.

• It is used for loading transformers, power generators, supply mains, AC alternators etc. neatly and efficiently.
• It can also be used advantageously for regulating current and adjusting voltage besides its application for calibrating meters and thus eliminating the need for graded rheostats.
• Fixed resistors with proper ratings having temperature co-efficient wound on circular porcelain pipe.
• It is air cooled device, housed in perforated MS sheet (Trolley Type).
• Rotary switches with fuses of proper rating used both in single phase and three phase types of load rating:
  Available: 1KW/3.75 KW/5KW/7.5KW/10KW both in single Phase and three Phase.

• Connected in star with self- discharging resistors
• Variable steps with the help of rotary switches in steps of 1amp approx.
• Housed in trolley type M.S. Box with powder coated.
• Ammeter and voltmeter are used to study the current and voltage at different loads.
• ON/OFF switch discharge switch etc. available in step variation.
• Capacitors connected in delta, fitted with caster wheels.
  Rating available: 5 Amps, 10 Amps, 15 Amps, 20 Amps, 25 Amps, and 30 Amps, available in single or three Phase.

• Works on variation of air-gap separation by increasing the air gap with the help of hand wheel mechanism.
• Laminated CRGO Stampings.
• Former wound Impregnated copper coils.
• Plunger type, continuously variable screw wheel mechanism. Mounted on thick wooden/Bakelite sheet with caster wheels for easy transportation
